Message The issue here is that at no point during our conversation (which has been ALL e-mail and of which I am sure we both have copies), at no time have you mentioned either 'Warranty' or 'FREE'. By mentioning those words, you give you viewer the impression that you were being helpful in assisting me with the motor issue. That would be a mislead.

Our 1 year warranty is pretty well known and you asked about the warranty when you picked your car up from our shop. When presented with posts on the forum *before* you emailed or called, I was under the assumption that you had your mind made up that you were going to have it taken apart and inspected else where and pursue legal avenues. So if I am defensive it is because of the way you have handled it to this point.

No doubt the these words would be what a customer would want to hear after purchasing a motor then discovering a rod knock. No doubt, it would be what the customer would expect.

OK.... My warranty is stated on the website. Kinda hard to go against what is printed on the page.

It might be more informative for the forum if we started from day one and gave the WHOLE story instead of just these bits and pieces. That way, we could more accurately reflect our story.

I doubt the forum has the bandwith or the patience for that. I think everyone knows the story.

1. We built the motor
2. You had it installed in Austin
3. You broke it in for 1000 miles
4. The compression and leak down were awesome after 1000 miles
5. You took it to the dyno to tune it
6. You spun a bearing on the dyno
7. It is under warranty if it is a machine shop error and we inspect it(with you present) and find that to be the case.
8. You are going to have someone else look at it and post the results
9. You will probably take us to court

That's pretty much up to date. No need to drag it out on the forum. Just post the results when you finally take it apart :-).
